What nocturnal animal would you be if you had to choose and why

Lion

Raccoon. They're curious, they're cute, and they can get into anything. They'll also destroy any household pet twice their size that tries to mess with them.

Also, I think they have A.D.D.

Alligator

A fruit bat. Because they are awesome, they don't have to get up early and they are vegetarian
