PhotonX say: Auditory hallucinations aren't all that uncommon. I find my mind constantly trying to make sounds and music out of background noises. There's nothing paranormal about it, and while it's not exactly normal, it's not abnormal either. If the day ever comes that you can't distinguish between fantasy and objective reality, that's the day you should seek professional help for it. Until then I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you.

Sometimes my head plays out entire symphonies I don't remember ever hearing before. It can be quite interesting, actually, and I imagine phenomena like these are what drive many musicians and other artists to pursue their craft.
