To a place of complete nothingness? (If you could do it of course) Or is there no 'fabric of universe' to travel on?

No one really knows what's "beyond" the observable universe. Some theories say the universe itself could be infinite. Other's say, the universe is expanding faster than you'd be able to move to "get to the edge of it".
