Need help with Physics homework!!! 10 points best answer please help!! :D?

1.) What quality of a sound is controlled by frequency?

2.)What quality of sound is controlled by amplitude?

3.)Describe what you hear when you experince the Doppler Effect.

4.) What does a guitar player do to play a higher note on a string?

5.) What two factors affect the note played by an air column?

6.)What does a trombone player do to play a lower note?

7.) A boy claps his hands while standing 30 meters away from a cliff. If the speed of sound is 340 m/s, how long does it take for him to hear an echo?

8.) How does a turning fork make a sound?

9.) In what kind of medium can sound waves travel? What happens if there is no medium?

10.) What is the equation for finding the period of a pendulum. What does each letter represent?

You don't have to help ok so please no rude answers!! And to those who helped and answer my question thank you very very much.!!! thanks for the help!!!

1) Pitch.
2) Volume.
3) A change in frequency.
4) Shortens the string.
5) More than 2, but column length and speed of sound (speed depends on temp., density, etc).
6) Lengthens the air column.
7) (30 x 2) = 60m.
(60/340) = 0.1765 secs.
8) By oscillating and creating air pressure waves.
9) In solids, liquids and gases. No medium, no sound.
10) Period = 2pi(sqrt.L/G). L is length in metres, and G is gravitational constant.
