Your "question" has me completely baffled. What on Earth do you MEAN by saying that a year "seems made up." The future is the future, and is very real to those of us who have lived through the past.

Dis agree. I fully expect to be alive and see my 60th birthday in 2013. Since I almost died in 2009-20190, everyday i can get out of bed and not have my knees or ankles collapse and i can function independently is another gift from God. There's multiple purposes for my life. Whether or not I figure out what those purposes are really doesn't matter. "Faith makes things possible, not easy."

I agree that what "seems" to be the case to you is irrelevant, since it's possible that your ability to discern such things might be a bit limited.

People should not be allowed to watch television until they are old enough to drive. Which should not happen until they are 50 years old.

That would simultaneously raise the IQ of the population and reduce road congestion.
