the Sun will shrink into a white ball without light and energy. It is considered the dark time of our Solar System.-If the Sun were to explode, we would be destroyed by the explosion. If the Sun was to suddenly stop producing light, well the Earth is really a molten ball of magma,......

If our mighty Sun went without fuel in the End, We will lose the light of the Sun which is Essential to Survive. The Earth then will get cold in few days without Light from the parent Star. All the planets in our Solar System will also lose gravitational tug had with the Sun. Planets will stop revolving around the Sun and we will go blind-folded towards some direction..
And the Sun will not explode like other Stars, because Our Sun is an Yellow-dwarf type star which is considerably smaller when compared to other stars in the Universe. Stars the size of 50 Suns will only explode. Our Sun Die as expanding bigger and bigger, then Sun will eat Mercury, Venus and come closer to Earth. It is called as 'Red Giant' when the Sun attains this stage. after coming closer to earth, the Sun will shrink into a white ball without light and energy. It is considered the dark time of our Solar System.

If the Sun were to explode, we would be destroyed by the explosion. If the Sun was to suddenly stop producing light, well the Earth is really a molten ball of magma, the solid crust on which we live is as thin to the Earth as the skin of an apple is to the apple. So it would still be possible to live deep underground if we could build a biosphere down there with enough plants and animals to keep us alive. In which case, we would have light till we ran out of power and light bulbs. The Sun is 8 light minutes from the Earth so if it goes out, you still have sunlight for 8 minutes.

Yes and No.
Yes because even though we think we see a constant beam of light every second since out existence. It took time for that light to get here. We would still have sunlight for awhile after it explodes but after that it would go dark. P.S. There would be an amazing burst of sunlight and radiation before that darkness sets in as well)
