the sun has solar storms just like earth has storms but instead of rain and lightning the sun has solar flares and solar winds. The sun goes though a peak of solar storms about every 11 years or so. The earth is protected but the earths magnetic field. only very small amounts of radiation actually hits the earth which causes the aurora borealis and the aurora australis (northern and southern lights). The meteors in the sky happen every year we never really get hit by the meteors in space its the perseids meteor shower there is nothing to worry about we are safe and nasa would be able to see if one was to hit earth 3 yrs or more before it happens and would be able to deflect it before it would do any damage to earth

Again? I would say the sun has been 'acting up' non stop for the past 4.5 billion years. It is doing what it always does, it is fusing hydrogen atoms into helium. If you are referring to recent solar flares, nothing new there either. The Earth gets hit by several major solar flares every year. How many have you noticed?

If you are referring to recent solar flares, nothing new there either. The Earth gets hit by several major solar flares every year. How many have you noticed?
