There are many different answers to this question.
Some people believe that, as the universe is expanding, it will eventually get so big it will collapse on itself and there will be nothing left.
Others believe that in the ending years of the universe, almost all stars will be burnt out. So much of the matter that makes up our universe today will have been used up by stars. All stars that remain will be burnt out neuton stars, and those will eventually collapse on themselves due to thier high mass.
I have even heard of people that think that the universe will end, then be reborn in a new "Big Bang".
These events arn't going to happen soon, maybe in about 500 trillion year? Just a guess, but yeah.
