There are many who will insist the planet is only 6000 years old, despite the vast body of evidence to the contrary. Conspiratards will insist we never landed on the Moon, despite the fact the landing sites are visible from orbit. And yes, while many of them are probably just trolls, there are indeed people stupid enough to believe Earth is flat.

They use as evidence the fact that no matter how far you walk, the ground beneath you feels level. (Even though you cant feel the curve anyway because the Earth is extremely massive)

Many people just want to argue so their egos get fed. Don't feed the trolls, but sometimes it's highly entertaining. it's AMAZING how predictable the behavior patterns of thes people a usually are AND how well reverse psychology works on them.
