Paul say: The quick way to do this if you're confident with multiplying fractions is to cancel the /5 so you get 4 * 11 = 44 simple as that.
However if you're not confident with multiplying fractions do it this way.
4/5 * 55/1 = (4*55)/5 and simplify.

= 4 * 1 * 11
= 4 * 11
= 44
