In glucose 6-phosphate (G6P), where did the phosphate group come from? what does the "6" represent?

When building the model of the fructose 6-phosphate (F6P), the id changes. Explain the changes that make this now fructose.

The phosphate is from the ATP which phosphorylated the molecule. The 6 represents the number of carbons in the molecule.

Simple structural changes led to the changes into F6P.
