Which organelle is numerous in heart muscle cells

Mitochondria is needed as heart muscle cells are very metabolically active so plenty of mitochondria is needed to produce Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) in order to produce energy. The heart is myogenic so needs much energy as it never tires.
