I was wondering about this new evolution thing I found

-I think that it is because intelligent reasoning people are able to see through the propoganda of evolution and see that it does not stand up.Of course intelligent reasoning people who WANT to belive in the theory of evolution are able to convince themselves.-For many people, their religious belief prevents them from accepting evolution. If they believe that the Bible is correct, and that the universe is created in 6 days by god,......
I just seemed to notice that people who have a lot of common sense and also the people with a lot reasoning don't believe in evolution. For some reason I noticed people who believe in evolution seem to not be able to put 2 and 2 together. Why is it that people with common sense or a lot reasoning don't believe in evolution?

For many people, their religious belief prevents them from accepting evolution. If they believe that the Bible is correct, and that the universe is created in 6 days by god, then they cannot possibly believe in evolutionary change, and that life had an origin here on earth and new species can evolve from an existing one without any need for the intervention of a god. For others, the truth matters little to them if it means that they must give up any hope of an after-life.

Well it's not "new", it's about 150 years old, and I suppose it depends on what you see as "common sense". Evolution is a theory, and theories aren't proven, they are presented based on observable information that has been collected and then scrutinized by the general public and scientific community alike. The fact is, Evolution is a theory that has stood up to scrutiny for 150 years. My favorite creationist rebuttal to Evolution is "If we came from apes, why are they still here?". Our D.N.A. is extremely close to that of apes, but no one is saying we evolved FROM apes, rather we have a common ancestor. I'm not sure how much you know about evolution, but it refers to how a species can change over time to better survive and thrive in its environment. This is driven through many aspects, but a main one being natural selection. This is basically the idea that the "best" of any given species is more likely to survive and reproduce than the weaker ones, thus allowing them to pass on their good genes to future generations. Over time, this makes the species stronger, and thus it "Evolves".
