Okay I will love you forever if you could help me with these questions please! Okay well I say questions but if you could explain each point I would be very greatful!

How marine organisms make shells from carbonates
How shells become limestone
The role of plankton in removing CO2 from the atmosphere
How volcanoes and weathering lean to CO2 being released into the atmosphere

Thanks

Well they spend their life in the water, the calcium carbonate found in the water is diffused and settles on the organisms which harden after a period of time forming a shell. When they die releasing even more calcium, the shells settle on the bottom of the sea/river whatever and lithify (look up) forming into limestone.
