Quick phytoremediation question

What are some disadvantages of using phytoremediation?

1. Can't do it in the dark.
2. Not applicable to all situations, e.g. the toxic material is farther down than the roots reach.
3. If you're using a plant that concentrates toxic metals in its tissues, then you have the problem of disposing of a lot of plants that are enriched in toxic metals.
4. If animals eat these plants, biomagnification can occur and you may be killing off the local apex predators.
