I read in multiple websites that hepatocyte cells store protein and other materials, but someone on Yahoo Answers told me "Hepatocytes do not have vacuoles."

I don't know for sure, but hepatocytes wouldn't need a vacuole to store proteins and other material. They have several other organelles or vesicles which serve such purposes.
