I need to know a reasonable amount of salt (in grams) that will dissolve in 50 mL of water?? 10 PTS TO BEST ANSWER!!!

At room temperature, you can dissolve about 35 g of NaCl in 100 mL of water. So half that (ca. 17.5 g) is the maximum amount that you can dissolve in 50 mL of water.
