1028 g/cm^3 = 3.1028 g/mL.3.1028 g/mL x 10 mL = 31.......
I'm trying to convert 10mL of Bromine to grams (g). Normally I would see density a g/mL but Bromine's density is described as 3.1028 g/cm(-cubed). How can I convert this amount to grams?

-
1.0mL is the same as 1.0cm³ (also called 'cc' for cubic centimetre).
3.1028g/cc x 10cc = 31.028g

-
A milliliter and a cubic centimeter are the same volume. So 3.1028 grams per cubic centimeter is the same as 3.1028 g/mL. By convention, most people use mL when they are speaking of liquids and cubic centimeters when they speak of solids or gases. Doctors and nurses use cubic centimeters for liquids also, at least when they are injecting you with those big long needles!

A mL and a cm^3 are equal. So 3.1028 g/cm^3 = 3.1028 g/mL.

3.1028 g/mL x 10 mL = 31.028 g
