How many total atoms are contained in 6.80 grams of C3O2

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-12-12] [Hit: ]
1 mol and 0,1 * 6.02x10 ^ 23 = 6.We see that the atoms must be 5 times larger than molecules.Calculate the 6.02x10 ^ 22 * 5 = 3,......
I got but 6.02x10^22 but they answer key says otherwise? please help?

6.02x10 ^ 23 particles contained in one mole of a substance
one mole of C3O2 weighs 12 * 3 + 16 * 2 = 68 g 6.8 g is therefore 0.1 mol and 0,1 * 6.02x10 ^ 23 = 6.02x10 ^ 22 particles (molecules)
In a single particle (molecule) contains C3O2 2 + 3 = 5 atoms
We see that the atoms must be 5 times larger than molecules.
Calculate the 6.02x10 ^ 22 * 5 = 3,01 x10 ^ 23
