metals are found at the left side,non-metals are found on the right side and are divided by a group of metalloids starting at boron going down diagonally and ending astatine. group A1(Lithium and down) are known as alkali metals ,A2 (Beryllium and down )are known as Earth alkali metals ,A7 ( Flourine and down) are known ashalogens ,A8 (Helium and down) are known as noble gases.......
which is atomic number and which is mass number and anything else you know about the periodic table

The atomic number is above the elements symbol and the atomic mass is below the symbol. The periodic table is divided into groups(down) and period (across). The atomic number is found by adding the the protons of the element . The atomic mass is found by adding the neutrons and the protons of the element .There metals,non-metal and metalloids , metals are found at the left side,non-metals are found on the right side and are divided by a group of metalloids starting at boron going down diagonally and ending astatine. group A1(Lithium and down) are known as alkali metals ,A2 (Beryllium and down )are known as Earth alkali metals ,A7 ( Flourine and down) are known as halogens ,A8 (Helium and down) are known as noble gases.
