A 0.17-mole sample of nitrogen gas occupies a volume of 2.70 L.
What is the volume of 0.28 mol of nitrogen gas under the same conditions?

-
the Temperature and the pressure are the same in both situation

you can divide P1V1=n1R1T1
P2V2=n2R2T2

We can see the the Pressure, Temperature, and R constant cancel each other and you left with

V1/V2=n1/n2
2.70L/V2=0.17mole/0.28mole
V2=4.45 L
