The astringent found in strawberries helps to remove surface stains, while vitamin C washes away plaque. Mashing a few strawberries and brushing with the mixture once or twice a week can have positive results. You could also just eat strawberries,......
I mean the enzyme that turns teeth white.

according to http://www.buzzle.com/articles/cheap-tee…
it is malic acid .. but I wouldn't call that an enzyme and think this site is wrong. Many sites refer to this effect but don't name the enzyme.

Strawberry-Baking Soda Method: Teeth whitening is possible with a paste of crushed strawberries and baking soda. All you have to do is make a paste of one ripe strawberry and half teaspoon of baking soda. Apply this paste on the teeth and leave for at least three to five minutes. Strawberries contain an enzyme called malic acid, which acts on the stains while baking soda buffs these stains away. You have to remove it by brushing your teeth with your regular toothpaste. This cheap teeth whitening method can be done weekly for best results.

other sites also say malic acid

this says malic acid and vitamin C : http://www.hangthebankers.com/7-natural-…
There is evidence that strawberries can help whiten teeth due to containing an enzyme called malic acid and vitamin C. The astringent found in strawberries helps to remove surface stains, while vitamin C washes away plaque. Mashing a few strawberries and brushing with the mixture once or twice a week can have positive results. You could also just eat strawberries, making sure to chew really well and allowing them to do the brushing on their own
