How much would a 1 metre (approximately) plank of wood weigh, the type of wood that woul;d be likley ussed for a mining cart to be built?? Please Help

Ash, oak and hickory would be ranked as the better woods for such hard use. A single, undressed, meter long 2"x8" plank would weight 15 - 18 lb. (6.6 - 8.1 kg).
