i also heard that the cauldera of a volcano and electricity in lightning spin the same way as well. is there a reason for this?

Low-pressure areas like tornadoes and moving gases from a volcano spin counter-clockwise in the Nothern Hemisphere and clockwise in the southern hemisphere. It has to do with the earth's spinning on its axis. Even over a distance of a few yards, the earth spins a little slower on the north side of a vortex than it does on the south side.
