Another earth found? Hope to found another earth, because earth is going to vanished by the Sun in the future

The future of the planet is closely tied to that of the Sun. As a result of the steady accumulation of helium at the Sun's core, the star's total luminosity will slowly increase. The luminosity of the Sun will grow by 10% over the next 1.1 Gyr (1.1 billion years) and by 40% over the next 3.5 Gyr.

And what is Gyr? Please explain...

Its saying that the sun is a nuclear engine, it combines hydrogen atoms into helium and larger elements. As this continues, the star will eventually run out of fuel and as it does, it gets brighter and hotter, until it blows.

Humanity in its current society has been around for ten thousand years. Science for ~ 400 years, Space travel for about 60 years and in 60 years we have put probes on atleast 4 planets and sent a probe out of our solar system. 1 billion years is 100,000 times 10,000. In that amount of time, society
could develop 100,000 times!!

If we can't figure out how to get off this rock on that long of a period, we don't deserve to lol. The bigger problem is that if we don't change our habits, the world as we know it will cease to exhist in under 200 years.

don't worry about the sun slowly expanding over a period of 1.1 billion years we will all be dead by then, and our descendents will evolve to the changes.
When the sun does go nova, our descendents will have long found a solution
