Capacitors in a serious accumulate charge in-between

I am working with capacitors and I have two in a serious. In between the capacitors I end up with a charge. I know because after unhooking them, and then testing voltage it shows power. Anyways my question is, am I correct that power is accumulating on the inside plates of two capacitors that work in a serious?

Yes, you are correct, but only if you say "charge (or voltage) is accumulating on the inside plates". Power does not accumulate.
