On electrical plans: how do i calculate the total connected current

(formula?this is the first time im doing a 3phase load, i really need help. i need to pass these on training tomorrow. thanks in advance plus 10 points.-Sum the 3 phase with each of the 1 phase and the total load (3 phase) will be the largest of the one phases.......
i'm doing an electrical plan of a commercial building. 230volts, 3 phase, 3pole.
the total on the schedule of loads are:
AB = 22.6 Amperes
BC = 14.34 A
CA = 22.6 A
3phase = 9.6 A (which is a 3hp pump motor)

How do i compute the total connected current for the main feeder? (formula?)

this is the first time i'm doing a 3phase load, i really need help. i need to pass these on training tomorrow. thanks in advance plus 10 points.

Sum the 3 phase with each of the 1 phase and the total load (3 phase) will be the largest of the one phases. In your example, the largest is AB (22.6) + 3 Ph (9.6) = 32.2 A, so the main needs to supply at least 32.2A 3 Ph (Plus whatever margin you've been taught to include).

Try, if you can, to balance max loads for BC a little better with AB and CA (perhaps offload a couple of circuits each from AB and CA to BC), as the transformer prefers to have nearly equal currents drawn from each winding when near its limit, else the core can saturate.
