6/8 = 0.75 so 9/P = 0.75 P= 9/0.It is basically rt angle triangle pythagoras problem with opposite = 6 and adjacent = 8 so tan @ = 6/8-do you know how to plot points?(0,0) is the origin ( 8,......
the line passes through the origin and the points that we have are (8,6) and (p,9) what is the value of P??
What would be the answers?? tnx

how
6/8 = 0.75 so 9/P = 0.75 P= 9/0.75 = 12

It is basically rt angle triangle pythagoras problem with opposite = 6 and adjacent = 8 so tan @ = 6/8

do you know how to plot points?

(0,0) is the origin ( 8,6) is one other point and the line through those two has a point for some x with y = 9

you should be learning how to relate one y value to an x value, with an equation like;
y = 2x + 3, to make a set of points of different x an y, like x = 1, y = 5, and to mark them on the graph ( 1,5)
