1BTU=1,12,000 BTU = 3.52 kWh= 1.1 pound bituminous coal= 12,1 barrel oil= 5.......
If i use 2016.312 kilowatts per year

How much cubic feet of natural gas is needed to support my killowatts?
How much coal would be burned to provide your energy?
How much uranium would you need for your yearly consumption?

Conversion Factors

1 kwh=3.41 x 10^3 BTU ( British termal units)
1 BTU= 2.93 x 10^-4 kWh
1BTU=1,055 J( joules)
12,000 BTU = 3.52 kWh= 1.27 x 10^7 J

1 pound bituminous coal= 12,000 BTU
1 barrel oil= 5.6 x 10^6 BTU= 5.91 x 10^9 J
1 ft^3 natural gas = 1,030 BTU = 1.09 x 10^6 J
1 g ^235 U = 4.0 x 10^7 BTU = 4.22 x 10 ^10 J

I really need some help, im very confused on converted my answers..

In a year, you use kWh, not kW. kWh is an energy quantity, kW is a rate of energy. So the question should read, If I use 2016.312 kilowatt-hours per year...

Gas usage:
2016.312 kwh/yr x 3.41x10^3BTU/kWh /(1030BTU/ft^3 gas) =
= 6675.3 ft^3/yr
= 6680 ft^3/yr (rounded) <===ANSWER

Coal usage:
2016.312 kwh/yr x 3.41x10^3BTU/kWh /(12,000BTU/lb coal)
= 572.97 lb/yr
= 570 lb/yr (rounded) <===ANSWER

Nuclear usage:
2016.312 kwh/yr x 3.41x10^3BTU/kWh /(4.0x10^7BTU/g ^235U)
= 0.1719g ^235U
= 0.17g ^235U (rounded) <===ANSWER
