? please help-Yes its possible. Any two of those pieces of information should define the line and it is possible that the third piece of information is inconsistent. But check your working.......
today, i came across a question which gave me the slope, the x int and the y int of a line. it asked me to find the equation of the line, which i did using the slope and y int. Just to check, i replaced y by zero to find the x int value. However, my x int was not the same as their given x int.......does this mean their was no solution?? no equation or was i meant to use another method??? please help

Yes it's possible. Any two of those pieces of information should define the line and it is possible that the third piece of information is inconsistent.
But check your working.
