Is energy everywhere, and itsn't it in all 5 senses

I have homework and I am trying to prove something to my classmates.

energy is pretty much everywhere, with some exceptions like the vacuum of space etc
sight - light is a form of energy. so is the matter you're looking at.
smell/taste - the chemicals which cause these are made up of matter, which is a form of energy
hearing - sound is a form of energy
touch - everything you touch is made up of matter, matter is a form of energy.
So yes, it's in plenty of places and in all 5 senses.
