So I really need help so can u guys explain to me how to do this and put it into a formula

atoms change and re arrange protons and neutrons

if mass is lost the missing mass becomes energy in E = MC^2

example in the sun Hydrogen atoms ( protons) become Fused to become Helium atoms ( over simplified) some mass is lost to become the heat and light of the sun

C is a very big number and C^2 is huge
so a tiny amount of mass produces a huge amount of energy

a TNT chemical bomb of 1 ton would level a large house
but only a few pounds of H in an H bomb would be 10 MILLION tons of TNT equivalent
