[POINTS] Statistics how to find value of the linear correlation coefficient r

linereg isnt matching the correct answers-Putting the height in L1 and the interval after in L2, and then using [Stat] > Calc > 4:LinReg(ax+b), I get r = .1627994975. If youre not getting that, then perhaps you typed in a data point incorrectly.......
height: 130 130 135 150 135 140 120 160
interval after 104 104 82 102 111 60 75 97

a] Find the value of the linear correlation coefficient
------------------- answer: r=0.163-----------------
b] Find the critical value of r from the table showing the critical values for the pearson correlation coefficient using a a= 0.05
------------------answer: critical value= .707

how do i get the answer using my ti 83 calculator?
linereg isn't matching the correct answers

Putting the height in L1 and the "interval after" in L2, and then using [Stat] > Calc > 4:LinReg(ax+b), I get r = .1627994975. If you're not getting that, then perhaps you typed in a data point incorrectly.

Using a value such as this: http://faculty.fortlewis.edu/CHEW_B/Docu… you can find the critical value of r where the sample size n is 8 and α = .05.
