Someone please HELP ME WITH THIS MATHS! year 6 maths

Inner (the inner terms, -3 and x),= x^2 - 5x +6-Multiply everything inside the brackets by everything outside.etc.......
it's for a book thing i have to write , i need some help!

Expand and simplify the following: (show working)
even if you can just do a couple.. much appreciated !

a) 2(x-5)
b) 2(3x+1)
c)5(2x-3)+4(5x+2)
d) (x-3)(x-2)
e) 5 (x+7)

-
expanding is when the outside co-efficients or numbers multiply the co-efficients or numbers inside the bracket.
when negative (-) multiplies with negative (-), the number or co-efficient (the letters, x in this case) turn positive
when postive(+) multiplies with positive (+), it is positive
when positive and negative multiply, it is negative

a)2x-10
b)6x+2
c)(10x-15)+ (20x+8) = 30x-7
d)x^2-2x-3x+6 = x^2-5x+6
e) 5x+35

this would be easier if you wrote it down on paper and tried it~ hope this helps

-
Look at algebra rules..
a) 2 (x-5) = 2x - 10
b, c, and e follow the same concept of multiplication.
d) (x-3) (x-2), follow FOIL (First [aka the first term in each bracket, x and x], Outer [the outer terms of the question (x and 2), Inner (the inner terms, -3 and x), Last (-3 and -2)
x^2 - 2x - 3x + 6
= x^2 - 5x +6

-
Multiply everything inside the brackets by everything outside.

So it's 2x -10

etc.

-
(A) 2x - 10
(B) 6x + 2
(D) x^2 - 2x - 3x +6 = x^2 -5x + 6

Just multiply the outer part with inner part

-
a) 2x-10
b) 6x+2
c) 10x-15+20x+8 = 30x-7
d) x²-5x+6
e) 5x+35
