NOTE that (1-x)s cross-cancel each other out, cant simplify further, give restrictions-What are you trying to solve? What is it equal to?Right now its a simplified fraction, there is nothing to solve.......
Can someone help me do this.

1/x - x
----------
1-x

this is -------- a fraction. i wasnt sure how to write

-
(1/x - x) DIVIDED BY (1-x)/1

get common denominators

(1/x - x(x)/x) DIVIDED BY (1-x)/1

(1-x^2)/x DIVIDED BY (1-x)/1

which is the same as

(1-x^2)/x TIMES 1/(1-x)

fully factor

(1-x)(1+x)/x TIMES 1/(1-x)

NOTE that (1-x)s cross-cancel each other out, leaving you with

(1+x)/x TIMES 1/1

(x+1)/x

can't simplify further, give restrictions
