ALGEBRA!! How do I SOLVE this!

This is the question:

Factor:
y^4(y + 2)^3 + y^5(y + 2)^4

This was the answer I was given:

y^4*(y+1)^2*(y+2)^3

I don't understand how it ended up there

Make a small change

y + 2 = A

=> y^4A^3 + y^5A^4


Can you get it NOW?
