Solve for x. (x + 3)^4/3 = 81

Solve for x.

(x + 3)^4/3 = 81


I got the answer 24, but supposedly you can get a second answer which is -30 . .

But I don't know how to get that answer, please help me!

[(x+3)^1/3]^4 = 81

(x+3)^1/3 = +/- 3

x+3 = +- 27

x = -30, 24

(x + 3)^1/3 = 81^1/4 = ±3, ±3i

3^3 = 27

(–3)^3 = –27

Subtract 3 to get 24 and –30

Also get two imaginary solutions

Assuming that question should be shown as :-

( x + 3 )^(4/3) = 81

x + 3 = 81^(3/4)

x + 3 = 27

x = 24
