I really need help with this one, and if you can show step by step it would be really great. Thanks!

Intersecting chords within a circle create two angles in the middle that are equal (they are vertical angles).

In your sketch, the vertical angle is 48 degrees.

A property of intersecting chords is that the "average" of the measures of the arcs formed by the two chords EQUAL the vertical angle. So, the formula in your example is:

(1/2)(WX + YZ) = 48, but you know the measure of WX is 62, so plug that in:

(1/2)(62+YZ) = 48

62 + YZ = 96

YZ = 96 - 62 = 34 degrees.

Hope that helps

48=(1/2)(marcXW+marcYZ)

48=(1/2)(62+m((YZ)
solve for m(YZ
