P(A) = .7 and P(B) = .6, so P(A U B) = .7(.6) = .......
2 events A and B are mutually exclusive. P(A)=.3 P(B)=.4 What is the probablility that event A does not occur and event B does not occur which is P(A(complement) and B(complement).

P(A') = .7 and P(B') = .6, so P(A' U B') = .7(.6) = .42 <==ANSWER
