Thanks guys!1. 25% of what number is 72?2. Which numbered choice shows a set of numbers whose product is -20 and whose sum is +1?3.......
Okay so we are doing mathbits and I am on box number 9 finally the last one can someone please solve all this, right answer gets chosen as best answer. I really can't figure out number 3 or the bottom part, but I want to double sure my answers are right for one and 2 and want to see what I am doing wrong. Thanks guys!(:

Solve the following 3 problems:

1. 25% of what number is 72?

2. Which numbered choice shows a set of numbers whose product is -20 and whose sum is +1?

1) 4 and -5 3) -2 and 10
2) -4 and 5 4) 2 and -10

3. Daniel’s Print Shop purchased a new printer for $35,000. Each year it depreciates (loses value) at a rate of 5%. Which numbered choice represents its approximate value at the end of the fourth year?

1) $33,250.00 3) $28,507.72
2) $30,008.13 4) $27,082.33

Read carefully!!
Find the result when the first answer is raised to the power of the second answer. Divide this value by the third answer. Place this answer in the address below (following the letter "B"), and type the address into your browser to find the last hidden box.

OK, I hope I did this right.

1) 72 / 0.25 = 288

2) The answer is #2 (-4 and 5) the sum is +1 and product is -20

3) The answer is #4 ($35000 - 5% = 33,250 - 5% = 31,587.5, and so on...)

Bottom
(I wasn't sure if your teacher wanted to use the answer numbers 1-4 or the actual answer, so I did it both ways):

288 to the 2nd power = 288 x 288 = 82,944 / 27,082.33 = 3.06266115....

OR

288 to the 2nd power = 288 x 288 = 82,944 / 4 = 20,736

Hope this helps.

Lol don't you think you should be doing this on yourself as you will face similar questions on your final exam? What will you do then? Will you come back to yahooanswers to ask us. I am just saying this from my experience. :)
