Let y = tan(2x + 7) --- MATH HELP PLEASE---

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-10-07] [Hit: ]
dy/dx = sec^2(2x+7)*2 dx............
A) Find the differential dy when x = 4 and dx = 0.2
B) Find the differential dy when x = 4 and dx = 0.4

THANK YOU!

-
y= tan(2x+7)
diff. both side using formula
dy/dx = sec^2(2x+7)*2 dx......................................…
dy/dx at x=4 , dx= 0.2 = sec^2 (2.4+7) *2*(0.2)
=0.4 sec^2(15)
and follow steps for the second part, put x=4 and dx=0.4 in equation (1) to solve second part.
