Okay, I get 13 dollars a week for doing chores.
I can get $200 on christmas.
I can get $100 on my birthday in january.
I currently have $145

Im trying to buy two things, a laptop or desktop and sony vegas (Costs $200). My budget for the computer is $550 but let's assume i payed the most.

So i can choose the pay later option to pay no interest for 6 months.


Now here are the questions:
Will i be able to pay the $550 in the 6 months? Will i be able to pay for all of it in 6 months?
How much would i have in 6 months if i bought nothing? How much will i have by christmas? and how much by my birthday?

52/2 * $13 = $338 for chores + $200 for xmas + $100 for bday + $145 you have = $783 earned in 6 months (which is early march)

yes, you can pay $550 in 6 mo. you will be $18 short for the sony vegas, but i'm sure you can get that some other way

if you bought nothing, you would still have $783

by christmas, you would have worked 12 weeks, that's $156 from chores, plus $200 bonus, plus the $145 you have, that's a total of $501

if you're birthday is the first week in january, it would be the $501 plus 1 more week of chores, plus the $100 bonus, that's $614. add $13 a week for every week if your bday is not in the first week of Jan.

In 6 months you will have:
$13 x 26 = $338 for chores
$200 for xmas
$100 birthday
plus the $145 you have now
