I just need the steps to understand how to work the problems. ANY help at all is greatly appreciated.Solve by using any method.1.2.3.......
I really just need help trying to solve these. I don't need answers, I just need the steps to understand how to work the problems. ANY help at all is greatly appreciated.

Solve by using any method.

1.) 3x+40<=x²

2.) 5-x²=x

3.) 7x - 9 +x²=9+2x(x-2)

Factor

4.) x²+2x√3+3

5.) 4x√5 - 2√35

Thanks. (:

-
1) 3x + 40 <= x^2
Move the x^2 over
-x^2 + 3x + 40 <= 0
Make 'a' positive
x^2 - 3x - 40 <= 0
Factor. What adds to -3 and multiples to -40? Why, -8 and +5 of course!
(x - 8)(x + 5) <= 0

2) 5 - x^2 = x
First, move the x over
5 - x^2 - x = 0
Standard Form (ax^2 + bx + c)
-x^2 - x + 5 = 0
Make 'a' positive
x^2 + x - 5 = 0
Quadratic Formula the rest.

3) 7x - 9 + x^2 = 9 + 2x(x-2)
Distributive Property
7x - 9 + x^2 = 9 + 2x^2 - 4x
Combine sides
10x - 18 - x^2 = 0
Standard Form (ax^2 + bx + c)
-x^2 + 10x - 19 = 0
Make 'a' positive
x^2 -10x + 18 = 0
Factor. What multiplies to 18 and adds to -10? Why, -9 and -2 of course!
(x - 9)(x - 2) = 0

4) x^2 + 2x(sqrt(3)) + 3
Factor. What multiples itself to be 3, and adds to be 2(sqrt(3))? Why, sqrt(3) of course!
(x + sqrt(3))(x + sqrt(3))
or
(x + sqrt(3))^2

1. 0<= x^2- 3x -40 (Sorry don't know how to input superscript)
<= (x - 8)(x + 5)

0<=x - 8 0<=x+5
x>=8 x>= -5

3. 7x - 9 + x^2 = 9 + 2x^2 - 4x
0 = x^2 -11x +18
= (x - 9)(x -2)
x = 2 and 9
