Need help understanding algebra

x^2's coefficient is 1..and c is 49..multiply 1*49=49

bx=48, so whan factors when multiplie will give you -49 and when added will give you -48?

so 1*-49=-49 and 1+(-49)=48

here we go

x(x+1)+(-49)(x+1)=0 , notice (x+1) in both brackets, we are hearding in the right direction.

and x+1 = 0

You have to factor and solve for the x = 0 property.

You have to plug-in t into the equation.

9 x 9 = 81
