Solve 3sin2x-1=0 on the interval 0 to 2pi

Then graph. The 4 answers to the equation are the 4 points of intersection on the graph where the 2 lines meet.Then find the points of intersection by pressing [2nd], [Trace], [5], and then moving the cursor around whichever you need to find.......
why are there 4 answers: 0.17, 1.40, 3.31, and 4.54? i only got the first two

3sin2x = 1 means sin2x = 1/3.
Bow 0 < x < 2pi means 0

You can solve this question easily on a graphing calculator (make sure it's in radian mode). First rearrange the equation to get 3sin2x=1
Now you have to plug in your y-values on the calculator
Y1= 3sin2x
Y2= 1
Then graph. The 4 answers to the equation are the 4 points of intersection on the graph where the 2 lines meet.
Then find the points of intersection by pressing [2nd], [Trace], [5], and then moving the cursor around whichever you need to find. (then press Enter three times)

Hope this helped!

3sin2x-1=0
add 1 to each side
3sin2x=1
divide by 3 to each side
sin2x=1/3
find on unit circle where sin divided by 2 is 1/3 = at pi/3
divide by 2
sinx= (pi/3)/2 --> (pi/3)*(1/2) = pi/6
therefore, x = pi/6

hope this was clear and helped!
