What two consecutive numbers add to 105

Please help this is a section called (Number Equations) and i need to know by tomorrow! Please Help!

Let the numbers x and (x+1).
x+(x+1) = 105
x=52.
The numbers are 52 and 53.

let "x" be the first number
then the second number will be "x + 1"

x + (x + 1) = 105
2x + 1 = 105
2x = 104
x = 104/2
x = 52 ans
x + 1 = 53 ans

x + (x + 1) = 105
2x = 104
x = 52
Numbers are 52 and 53

my 4th grader says 52 and 53
