Are sick people allowed to work at the pharmacy

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 12-01-09] [Hit: ]
This is a really dumb question.Thats like asking if Im sick do I need to go to work?Get real!-No.......
This girl served me at the pharmacy today, and it was obvious she had a blocked nose, she was sniffing, and blew it very loudly, and then filled my script. Is this appropriate, especially in a pharmacy? It's summer here, and it was in the morning, so could it be hay-fever or something else?

Allergies is a good bet.

i work at a hospital and you can get sick here quite frequently so we only call in when severely sick or running a fever. it is also required to either have your flu shot annually or wear a mask. it is good practice and polite to wear a face mask if you are sick and at work tho.

As if being sick keeps you from working anywhere?????

This is a really dumb question. That's like asking "if I'm sick do I need to go to work?"
