Trig question. Is e = ln (logarithms)

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 12-02-03] [Hit: ]
Also : e^( ln m ) = m....= 125 ........
Is e = ln?

While you're at it, here's another question:
How do you solve this?
e^(3ln5)

Thank you!

-
e is not ln but ' log to the base e ' is ln.

Also : e^( ln m ) = m.

Hence :

... e^(3· ln 5 )

= e^[ ln ( 5³ ) ]

= e^[ ln (125) ]

= 125 ..................................... Ans.
