Inequal Linear Equations

It seems every time I solve one equation I immediately get stuck on the next one even though it's similar...

http://puu.sh/fxMn answer = x < 3 1/2

Here is what I tried:

6(4x - 3) / 2 - 6(3x - 3) / 3 < 3

3(4x - 3) - 2(3x - 3) < 18

12x - 9 - 6x - 6 < 18

6x - 15 < 18

6x < 33

x < 5 1/2

What the hell am I doing wrong? This is really frustrating me guys as I solved a similar equation just a minute ago with the same method :(

-
3(4x - 3) - 2(3x - 3) < 18

12x - 9 - 6x + 6 < 18 as -2 x -3 = 6

6x < 21

x < 3 1/2

-
You are wrong because it is---
6(4x - 3) / 2 - 6(3x - 3) / 3 < 3
= 3(4x - 3) - 2(3x - 3) < 3
= 12x-9-6x+6 < 3
= 6x-3 < 3
= 6x < 6
= x < 6

And that one on the link----
(4x-3)/2-(3x-3)/3 < 3
= (12x-9-6x+6)/6 < 3
= 12x-9-6x+6 < 18
= 6x-3 < 18
= 6x < 21
= x < 7/2
= x < 3 1/2

-
6(4x - 3) / 2 - 6(3x - 3) / 3 < 3

multiplying by 6 both sides

18 * (4x-3) - 12 (3x - 3 ) < 18
72x - 54 - 36x - 36 < 18
36x - 90 < 18

dividing by 18 both sides
2x - 5 < 1
x < (1 + 5)/2
x < 6/2 ==> x < 3

so answer is x < 3 and not 5 1/2 or 3 1/2

if you solve taking the second one
3(4x - 3) - 2(3x - 3) < 18

you have given
12x - 9 - 6x - 6 < 18 but correct one is 12x - 9 -6x + 6 < 18 (-2 * -3 is 6 and not -6)
6x - 3 < 18
x - 2 < 9
x < 9/2 ==> x < 5 1/2
