..33m + 54 = 5m + 30 ... subtract 5m from both sides,......
Ok I am beginning to understand the factoring now because of all your help. now please help me solve the above.

-
(2m-9) (6+ 5 m) = (10m +15) (m-2)
<=> 12m -54 +10m^2 -45m = 10m^2 +15m-20m-30
<=> -28m=24
<=> m= -6/7

-
(2m-9)(6+5m)=(10m+15)(m-2) ... multiply it out

10m^2 - 33m - 54 = 10m^2 - 5m - 30 ... subtract the 10m^2 from both sides

- 33m - 54 = - 5m - 30 ... now multiply all by -1 to get

33m + 54 = 5m + 30 ... subtract 5m from both sides, subtract 54 from both sides

28m = -24

m = -24/28 = -6/7
